In Person Training
One of the key pieces of professional development is training.
Relationship-Based Professional Development and Training
In order to make the most of your training, our Featured Trainers seek to establish relationships with learners to actively engage them in the learning process. Through coaching we encourage learners to reflect on their learning and practices, asking them to identify evidence of sustained change in their work.
Job-Embedded Professional Development with Delivery that is Culturally and Linguistically Responsive
We work with professionals in their program setting to provide real-time feedback, resources and learning supports. When learning is reinforced in the program environment it supports the professional in increasing their skills.
Our cultures, values and beliefs shape the way we identify ourselves, our experiences and relationships with others as well as influence the way we learn. We believe that it is critically important to support professional development in ways that connect learning and skills with the culture of the learner and the program. This connection of learning to culture makes learning the most meaningful.
We utilize the OEIB Equity Lens and Head Start Multicultural Principles as the foundations for our work.
Professional Learning Communities and a Variety of Modes to Deliver Training
Professional Learning Communities are an opportunity for professionals to share challenges, provide inspiration to each other and create shared learning experiences.
Face-to-face (in person), online and blended training are all offered at Ask Phoenix Solutions. By creating real-time and immersive experiences, participants are able to immediately apply their new knowledge in their program context; an important strategy for moving knowledge to competency.
