Director of Professional Development Programs
I’ve been interested in helping people learn things for as long as I can remember. I received my B.S. in Elementary Education from Western Oregon University and an A.A. in Graphic Design from Portland Community College and am very excited to be putting both of my degrees to good use at Ask Phoenix Solutions! When I’m not working I’m spending as much time as possible with friends and family. I have two nieces and two nephews (ages ranging from toddler to teen) with whom I laugh, play and cuddle as much as possible!
Office Manager & Training Coordinator
I am married to the Founder, CEO, Owner, President, and Chairperson of the Board of Ask Phoenix Solutions, Dr. Tammy Marino. We’ve lived in SE Portland all our lives and welcomed a daughter to this magical land of wonder and beauty in July of 2003. We enjoy spending time together at places like the beach, the zoo, and a couple of times, at least, Disneyland. I came on board at Ask Phoenix Solutions in March of 2013, as the Office Manager, after spending 13 years in a major Portland hospital’s medical records office; I couldn’t be happier with that decision.
online Training Specialist
I grew up in Seattle, WA with my father, mother, and younger brother; we then moved to Wenatchee, WA where I finished middle and high school. My husband, Alex, is from Sandpoint, ID; we married summer of 2012 after meeting through mutual friends in college. My hobbies include: crafting, photography, cooking, reading, and spending time outdoors. Alex and I also enjoy trying out Portland’s great restaurants, cafés and coffee shops.
Quality and Professional Development Specialist, featured trainer
I have always enjoyed the company of young children and have nine years of classroom experience in early childhood settings. I am passionate about education - especially early childhood. As a Certified Master Trainer I have the privilege of helping early childhood educators reach their professional development and quality improvement goals. I graduated from Warner Pacific College with degrees in Human Development and Organizational Leadership. I live in Colton, Oregon with my wonderful husband and three amazing children. When I have extra time (which is not often) I enjoy practicing yoga, running, singing and crocheting.
